The Learning Garden at the Ballard P-Patch
Established in 2012, the Learning Garden is the place where we demonstrate various gardening techniques, grow new or unusual vegetables, field test cover crops and continue to explore ways to improve our garden soil. Interpretive signs allow a self-guided tour or you can ask one of our community gardeners to explain what you discover there.
The Learning Garden allows all of us to share our collective gardening knowledge and experiences within our community and the organic vegetables grown and harvested from the garden are donated to the Ballard Food Bank.
